Body Buddies. It was the "kids" cereal in the late 70's that my mom would let me eat

It was made by Kellogg, and it was called Most. It was like a crunchier, wheat-germ version of Quaker Oat Squares.

My husband loves Product 19. I guess they still make it, but it is very rare. He said it's the best flake cereal out there. I can't find it anywhere in stores. It's on Amazon but it's expensive, around $7-8 per box.

Not a cereal but the carnation breakfast bars. OMG. What I would not give for more of those (horrible for you) bars.

The only thing I miss is the Trix from the eighties. They were just colored balls, and I remember that they tasted better than the fruit shaped ones that came out when I was four.

Once in a while I eat a box of cocoa krispies, then I want to die...but oh that yummy purplish colored milk at the end.

Raisins Rice and Rye. That was yummy.

Freakies. That was my idea of heaven as a 7 year old. Still like Captain Crunch every once in a rare while.

Damn! I was perfectly content with my life, ignorantly an blissfully amnesic about that cereal. Until now. I would have continued on with my life, unaware that it no longer exists but unbothered because that sweet sweet treat was a long forgotten memory. Damn you.

And this recollection has also triggered an equally painful memory of Jello pudding pops. May the king of all frozen novelty treats rest in peace.
