Workshop for parents of children with special needs transitioning to preschool

We are parents of children with special needs getting together to
prepare for the transition process in DC from Early intervention to
preschool.

It will cover IEP meetings and laws, as well as preschool programs in
DC and Montgomery county that are for children with special needs.
Given by Michelle Davis, M.Ed. Educational consultant-ABC's for life
success. Co-author of The Special Needs Advocacy Resource Book

It depends on what you need, but I would suggest getting the book. It would really help anyone who is new to the IEP process.
DC is making lots of changes also in the sp. ed process so it is good to know the laws and what you can do.
