music together class with silvia ferro

Does anyone have any experience attending a Music Together with Silvia Ferro as the instructor? Debating whether to sign up with my active, music-loving one year old son. I tried a class at the Levine School of Music in March and wasn't really sold. Uncertain if it was the instructor or just the format. It was fine but not worth the ~$20/class. That does, however, seem to be the going rate for baby classes in this area.

She's sweet, very smiley, and seems to really enjoy working with children. I've taken her class, Miss Amy's, and another music together with someone in Chevy Chase. Miss Amy, who's on maternity leave, is by far the best in my opinion. But I think kids who love music won't really know the difference among teachers.

Silvia is awesome! We have taken two sessions with her. Miss Amy as well and she is great too! Miss Amy will be back in fall but I think you should try a class with Silvia. Amy will allow free demos, that's how we first signed up last spring.
