Tennis teams/summer camps or classes in Bethesda area?

| MY 11 year old has taken lessons for years but wants to, in her words, get better at tennis this summer. She is in camps until mid-July 9-3. Any suggestions for solid, well run tennis programs that run in the summer into the school year would be appreciated! TIA. |

| 4 star at and Merrifield or College Park if you are willing to drive are the best known programs for more serious junior players. |

| We've had a good experience at Georgetown Prep Tennis Club. We've played there in the winter. They offer a jr membership. With that you get cheaper lessons in their bubble and you get to participate in "match Play" every Friday evening. My son enjoys it. We have not tried their summer camps but I imagine they are well run. Bullis is the other option near Bethesda (Potomac). I also know people who like the summer tennis camps at the County Paulina Betz Tennis Center. That is inside out of the heat--which can be good in July. |

| TenniStar camp at Bethesda Sport and Health is good (my child goes to the one they run in NW DC). During the school year, they run weekly classes at every level at Bethesda S&H. |
