We love to watch good bartenders at work. Concocting great classic and creative cocktails. For my husbands birthday I'd love to take a small group somewhere to sit at the bar and just experiment. Suggestions?

You might want to check out the Columbia Room.
I've not been but people seem to like the Columbia Room, the Gibson, Harold Black, and the PX. But be careful because some require reservations.
Op here. Thanks - I actually posted the other thread about the Columbia room. The "speakeasies " are fun. But we just love a great bartender. It can be a hotel bar ,restaurant. Anything. (Bourbon steak in Georgetown is another great option if anyone else is interested)
Room 11? Hank's Oyster Bar? The W rooftop? The Brixton?
I think I posted in the other thread about Range-- we had a great bartender who introduced us to a bunch of great drinks. I can't actually remember if they have a bar you can sit at, because we were at a table in the front of the house where our server was a bartender. |
