GOP Corruption at Every Level

Former North Dakota state senator Ray Holmberg, a Republican who served 45 years in the legislature, has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Holmberg engaged in criminal activity during international travel, which included illegal conduct involving minors. Court documents indicate he pleaded guilty in August 2024 to one count related to traveling for illicit purposes.
The sentencing took place on March 26, 2025, exceeding the recommended guideline range due to the severity of the offenses. The case was handled under Project Safe Childhood, the DOJ initiative aimed at protecting children and preventing exploitation.

And democrats implored her not to run for re-election and tried to get her to retire before she died. It was awful.

But the Washington Post found records he told a park ranger that he accidentally shot himself in the right arm in Montana’s Glacier National Park in 2015, and that was covering up a friendly fire incident he never reported to his military superiors. What?

Update: Senator Sheehy appears to have broken a veteran protester’s arm helping Capitol Police remove him from a committee hearing today, despite his claims that he was deescalating the situation.
