how to re-warm bbq beef brisket while not home

We will be celebrating our son's First Communion this weekend. Mass is at 5:30pm and we will be returning to our house by 7:30pm. As soon as everyone gets to the house we would like to be able to serve dinner.

Is there any way to use a crockpot to keep sliced bbq beef brisket hot so that it is ready to eat when we get home?

Yes, but add water to it to make sure it does not get too dried out.
