Big law attorneys-where are you in your billables?

I'm fairly new to this world and the counting of billables and trying to map what I need to work for the coming months but still take vacation is dizzying. By may 31st, I'm hoping to be over 1000hrs. Where are you all with your billables? More or less?

Ugh, usually by now I am at 105% or so, which gives me some sort of cushion, but instead I am coasting at about 90%. Quality of life has been great, but I feel like I am digging myself into a hole. You should get a monthly report which tells you where you are to your target.

I'll hit 1000 tomorrow, looks like (though specialized medium law, not Big Law). This year has sucked. Being too busy is better than the alternative, though.

I'll probably be closer to 1,100 by the end of this month. We don't have minimums but still get monthly reports. It has been a busy year (with no end in sight) so even having taken two weeks off with plans for a few more, I guess I'm doing fine.

PP, you must work with my DH. His form doesn't have a billing requirement, and he is getting his ass kicked preparing for a trial- end in sight several months from now. I'd be surprised if he is below 1300 right now. Boy does he ever need a break.
