Memorial Day--do people tend not to list around that weekend?

| Do people list less just before Memorial Day thinking buyers will be out of town or not wanting to go to open houses? Just curious. |

| I think I saw a few listings last year right before Memorial Day. I wonder what the realtors recommend. |

| I think some people will list especially if they are goin to be out of town for the holiday. I can't imagine anyone staying in town with kids would list- too many BBQ's, pool opens, no school, etc. So, I think they will be fewer listings but there will be some. |

| Why not? We listed right before we left on vacation and our realtor held two open houses while we were gone. It all depends if you're ready to list. And in this market, there will be people ready to buy at any time. |
