I recall in a previous post that Jeff said he would never cast a vote for a candidate who allowed robocalls and hence, would not vote for Kwame Brown. I believe Jeff said he was going to write in Carol Schwartz, but I received a robocall from Carol last night. ![]() |
But she was very apologetic about her robocall! |
Indeed she was! It was like it was aimed specifically at Jeff! |

Yeah, I could have sworn I heard her say, "Yes, Jeff, I find robocalls annoying too..." ![]() |
Just as a piece of information, at a campaign event tonight, Muriel Bowser said she will vote for her two present colleagues, Carol and Kwame. I would not necessarily be swayed by an endorsement in any case, but I had already voted anyway -- for Schwartz and Schartzman.
BTW, Kwame sounds very good, and I might have voted for him if I thought he needed my vote. But I figured he's a shoo in and wanted to cast two votes against Michael Brown for the other seat. |
This is hilarious. You are correct that I will not vote for anyone who has robocalled me. However, in this case, there is a loophole because I was not aware that Schwartz did, in fact, robocall us. Maria apparently answered the call. So, technically, I have not been robocalled and I am still going to write Schwartz in.
