Great Pet friendly hotels within 3 hour drive

Any recommendations? We would like to do a weekend away for our anniversary but we need to bring our 2 senior pugs.

You can take dogs to the Cambridge Hyatt which is nice and also, I think, to the Omni Bedford Springs.

Definitely not great hotels, but almost all residence inns take pets.

All of the Kimpton hotels are dog friendly, no additional fees. We stayed at one in Philadelphia that was nice. Also a couple of b and bs, the Lazy L in Lewes Delaware and te Welbourne Inn in Middleburg.

Also not fancy, but all La Quinta Inns take dogs for no additional fee. We also stayed recently at a Best Western in South Carolina that accepted dogs.

The Westin in Annapolis takes dogs (as do all Westins.) You can take the dog on the shuttle downtown (or it is a 10 minute walk) and Annapolis is a very dog friendly city.

The Tides Inn in the northern neck area of VA permits dogs. We love it there!

My senior Pug rather enjoyed our stay at Loews Annapolis!

Looks like Annapolis might be a good bet for you, OP!

I have never stayed there but the Barefoot Mailman in Ocean City takes pets and has good reviews on Trip Advisor.

It's not luxurious but the beachfront Marriott Residence Inn in VA beach is one of the only pet friendly hotels on the water. The staff are incredibly nice, the rooms face the water, and me and the pup have enjoyed more than one vacation there and had an excellent trip every time.
