Go to USAJobs and find jobs that fit what you are looking for. They should list the GS level. Then head to the GSA website and find the salary range.
My guess is GS-13 -- based on my own job searching several years ago -- so ~$90k at step 1. |

| Navy labs are pay-banded and PhDs are hired at high 11/12 in maybe mid-80s and then you'd be promoted within 2 years go 12/13 band with a 6-12% raise, but with the current situation expect that to be more like 6% unless things change drastically. I don't know if NRL is the same as NAVSEA |
