4 Pitbulls a killed 67 year old woman

| How many people have to be killed or mauled by pitbulls before they are outlawed? How does one go about getting them outlawed in DC? In most instances where pitbulls attacked someone, the owners say they were the sweetest dog etc that just snaps. |

| The 7 year old daughter of someone who works at a local day spa was attacked by a pit bull last year and had to have multiple surgeries. |

| I am sick of these trailer trash people getting WAY more pit bulls then they can handle!! They always end up getting loose and wreaking havoc at some point. I will never understand why someone would want to own an animal that was bred to kill. I don't care if you raised yours "well" they are just a horrible breed and need to be erradicated. I was cornerd by my cousins 5 year old "baby" for over 20 minutes before someone realized what was happening and rescued me. That dog wanted to hurt me! Not one hour earlier she had been sitting almost in my lap giving me kisses. Then I got up to use the restroom and she didn't like that. Everyone was outside at the time and I guess she was protecting the home. WTF? I knew then what aggressive unpredictable creatures they are. Of course they defended her and two months later she almost killed their neighbor. It seems people get all to emotional over this breed. But if we just spayed and neutered them and made breeding them a felony, it would stop the problem without actually hurting them. My dad had one that would act all lovey dovey at home and then escape and kill the neighbor's cats. |

Oh yes, lets get rid of the pitbull dog breed. They are very violent! While we are at it, lets get rid of the African American race too. They too are very violent!

Ridiculous. Statistically pitbulls are the breed most involved in ficious and deadly attacks. Even pitbulls with "nice" owners whom have treated them well and kindly have had pitbull pets that turned on them or their child. The issue with pitbulls is that they don't stop after one bite, as many dogs that bite may do. They maul and kill the victim. I realize this us not a happy topic on Morher's Day but I am really nervous about the well-being if my children and my dog. |
