| I got into the Spanx habit when I gained some weight and was barely squeezing into size ten pants. I have since lost 25 lbs and am wearing a size four, but am still wearing the Spanx under work clothes every day. I feel a little silly, but I can't seem to break the habit. I feel strange without them now. Anybody else addicted to Spanx even when you probably don't need them? |
| I love them! I wear the asset brand from target. I have a large chest so I love never worrying that my dress shirts are gaping or if I lean a little no one can ever see down my shirt! |
I am a mother of four and even though I am very petite, a size 0-2 and exercise regularly some clothing especially dresses just look better with spanx. I do not use it every day, but I keep handy
|
| Wear spans daily which is why I am getting lipo on Friday! |
| Yes! I'm a good Southern girl and don't wear dresses without it even tho I'm tiny. |
| I don't even own Spanx. They seem uncomfortable and since I'm thin, I don't think it would be worth putting up the discomfort (and having DH know I'm wearing "granny panties") for what would be very little difference in the look. If I were to gain weigh though, you can bet I'll be running out to buy some Spanx. |
| How did 25 lbs take you from a tight 10 to a 4? |
Dunno. I guess I lost it in all the right places. |
| What kind of spanx do you wear, a lighter version? My spanx are pretty heavy duty and i only have worn for dressy events, but msybe i would look better if i wore more often! |
| I'm a size two but had twins. I am in pretty good shape but my belly will never be the same. It needs a little help now and then. I usually only wear them with dresses. |
I lost 25 pounds and also went size 10 to 4. I'm 5'3", was 145, now 120. A lot does depend on the brand - wore an Ann Taylor dress in a size 4 yesterday that was a little loose, but in other brands a 6 is a better fit. |
| At 136, I was an 8, and at 127, I am a 2-4. It's called going from being flabby to being in shape. |
| Nope, I do a ton of squats. |
I'm not the PP but I went from a size 10 to a 4 after losing 20 pounds b/c I am totally flat chested and all my weight was in my tummy, hips and thighs. I lost all the weight there, and voila, 3 dress sizes down. |
why wouldnt it? 10 lbs is generally equal to about one size, so shes within that range. |
