Chances of private school financial aid making $115K

Dad will not contribute toward private school for our two kids, but they are struggling in public schools in part I think due to classroom size of 28+. Do I have a chance at financial aid from private Christian schools in VA making $120K (AGI is only $65K) DH's income would or would not be considered ($150K)?

Probably not much, if any, unless the school has a sizeable endowment.

Due to class size? Why aren't other kids in the same class struggling? This is weak sauce.
