Forest Knolls Elementary School in Silver Spring won one of the slots on "Wake Up With Al" for the Today Show.
Did you see it? We have a great school and a great community. Staff arrived at around 5:00 am, parents and kids arrived at 6:30 am. We cheered, we held signs. The 5th grade chorus sang for Al Roker. Al Roker talked with students and staff. This kind of stuff doesn't happen too often. Our local High School brought their pep squad. I think the band may have been there, but I had to leave before then. This is one of the schools that is recommended here and in the Real Estate forum. A great school in the Four Corners Area of Silver Spring. |
