TV shows for 5 year old and 2 year old?

Anonymous
Not sure if any appropriate ones exist (I know 2 year olds shouldn't watch TV), but I'm hoping to find a few that are acceptable for 30 minutes or so a day. Sometimes we need to try and entertain both with TV.

Thanks for any suggestions! Currently the younger seems to be able to watch Wild Kratts somewhat successfully.

Word Girl, Super Why, The Wiggles DVDs, Yo Gabba Gabba, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Barney, Handy Manny, Bob the Builder, Dora, or Diego, Angelina Ballerina.

My kids are 4 and 6 now but they have been watching these for a while. They also like some less-appropriate shows that have scary and violent parts - My Little Pony, cartoon Avengers, Justice League, Spiderman, and Super Hero Squad, old Scooby Doo and Superman cartoons, Alvin & the Chipmunks Meet the Werewolf. The 4 year old loves super heroes. Especially the Justice League where Hawk Girl breaks up with the Green Lantern and he cries.

Our kids are 5 (boy), 2, and 2 (though almost 3 yo girls). Shows they will watch together: Dinosaur Train, Backyardigans.

Mr Rogers neighborhood is on Sprout? When? I haven't found it.

When my boys were 5 and 2 (now 6 and 3), they would watch Super Why, Fresh Beat Band, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse together. The 5 year old hated when the 2 year old wanted to watch Gabba. Now at 6 and 3, the older one is annoyed with Fresh Beat Band and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, but they enjoy watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates together.

Peep and the Big Wide World - on utube in 9 minute segments. Great educational show that's super cute.
