School board meetings...waste of time?

Do you attend or watch the school board meetings? Why or why not? Do you feel that is a good way to have your concerns regarding the school system heard? What are parents doing to effect change?

OP, I was wondering the same thing. I wish things were different in my locally zoned school. When I called the PGCS office the other day, they were aware of how the weird boundary lines contributed to low parent participation but it seems like there was no plan to address the problem.
