Personal finance software

I have traditionally used Quicken to manage personal finances but I really want an online platform with smartphone apps and I don't need most of the Quicken features. I want a check register for joint bank account, emergency savings, and a couple credit cards. I tried using ClearCheckbook.com and how I HATE it -- it doesn't keep transactions for separate accounts separate.

Anyway, I really want to push up my game for savings. We can do it but I need to find a system that works better for me and smartphone apps will be really important to that for us. Any recommendations?

Um, Quicken 2013. They added mobile app. and cloud based features this year. Only works with Windows PCs though, no Mac OS X. But it works with iPhones.

YNAB (You Need a Budget). (Assuming you don't actually need to PRINT checks; just register transactions.)

YNAB is awesome budgeting software, a great way to manage multiple accounts, and an excellent method for increasing your savings and getting out of debt. DH and I share a YNAB budget on our home computer and then each enter transactions on the apps on our iPhones and iPad while on the go.

been on ynab for a few weeks now and i am shocked at how well it is going. i am not the type to keep receipts and track spending this closely but i am really adjusting to and enjoying this program. i think it actually forces me to spend less because i dont like inputting.

Been using inexfinance.com for a while and really like their budgeting tool. Another great feature is the calendar of events where you can project future spending and set reminders about due dates.
