Lost and Found Forum??

Hi Jeff,

I am a regular reader but a less regular poster. I just posted about a lost coat that I am desperately trying to find as it belonged to my late mom, and it has a great deal of sentimental value to me. I posted in the General Parenting forum because the coat was lost near a park in Rockville that has both a soccer field and playground so I think it is likely that an area mom might have the seen it last or picked it up. I know it really belongs in the Off-Topic forum (I posted there as well) but my sense is that the post just won't be seen by as many people there. Is there a better forum I could use, or would you mind please leaving it in the General Parenting forum just for the day? Thank you so much.

The Off Topic forum is the most heavily-used forum on the website. You would be much better off concentrating your efforts on listservs and websites that serve groups local to the park. Only a small fraction of our users are likely to have even heard of the park. Good luck finding the coat.
