Recommend your refridgerator and high efficiency washer dryer

We're in the market for some new appliances. On the refridgerator side we know we want french door, external ice maker and a good size b.c we have a good size family and cook a lot

Regarding the washer/dryer we want high efficiency but top load and good size. I don't mind spending the money if the appliances are worth it and will last with appropriate care.

Please recommend what you're have success with or even better, what you would stay away from!

For what it's worth we've been looking at LG, Samsung and GE Profile...

I have a Kenmore Elite French Door and love it. I had to get the 33" wide one for the space in my kitchen, but it has like 25cu ft of storage. It's amazing! The ice/water is in the door and can be locked. There is no addl ice maker in the freezer so if you need a large amount of ice, just keep the maker running and dump it in the provided bin in the freezer. The shelves are all adjustable and slide out for easy cleaning. The crisper drawers are amazing, my produce life has been significantly prolonged, and I love the wide drawer at the bottom for deli items. It's at the perfect height that my children can get snacks like yogurt & cheese sticks.

As far as my washer, I've had an LG front loader set for almost 5 yrs now and have had no problems.
