I have a small business, which is an S-corporation. As part of that business, I have created a large conference and e-newsletter service with a valuable mailing list.
I would like to register or trademark (whichever is correct) the title of the conference and its logo. I assume that I need an attorney to do that for me; can anyone give guidance on how to find? I'm obviously not even 100% sure what I'm asking, so sorry if this doesn't make sense... I just don't want anyone else to be able to duplicate the name of the conferece. Thank you! |
| Honestly you can probably do it on LegalZoom these days |
| copyright.gov |
| I used to work as a trademark attorney at the pto. I would recommend hiring an attorney. |
OT but what do you do now? That is such a cushy job, why did you give it up? |
| The work life benefits are great but the actual job is super tedious and repetitive. Very boring. |
| Pp. ps. Also there is huge pressure to perform, meet the quotas, if you have one of the bad managers, which I did. He forced people to work unpaid over time so that his overall team numbers were higher so that he would get a higher bonus. Illegal bc then the managers who follow the law get screwed. |
