Does anyone know the names of any Public Health Organizations in Montgomery County? I know Westat is one, but I'm having a hard time finding others.

NIH?

When you say "organizations" do you mean potential employers?

No IQ Solutions it is not. They do a fair amount of work in the public health arena with SAHMSA and other HHS agencies and private foundations.

I learned something new. I've been on their website before looking for jobs and all they had available were IT positions.

OP,

At the Federal level, you have NIH, HRSA, AHRQ, FDA and probably others in MoCo. You also have county, city, and state agencies. At least most off these openings will be posted online.

Public Health can mean so many different things. A statistician, bench scientist, IT specialist, health education, legal issues, e.g., here's Westat's website:
http://www.westat.com/Westat/expertise/health_and_medical/index.cfm

I'm sure you have a sub-specialty, so google firms based on that. Join APHA and any other relevant professional organizations. Network, network, network. Good luck.

I'm always trying to network, but it's hard to meet people in this field for some reason.
