Good information for parents of college students who take Ritalin, Adderal for ADHD.

In the wake of widespread abuse of attention-deficit drugs by college students, colleges are instituting new rules for health centers about the diagnosis and prescription of drugs like adderall and ritalin.

Good news. I went to college and grad school at two very different places, but at both they were giving out adderall like candy. Definitely a conversation parents should have with kids before they go to college.

Why wait for college. Lots of abuse already in high schools. Abuse by those who don't have prescriptions and those who fake the symptoms to get it

And their parents. My BIL pops his son's pills (amphetamine on the label) like candy.
