how long from headhunter to company interview

| Any thoughts on how long it should take from having a very positive meeting with a headhunter (about a specific job) to having a meeting set up with the company. The headhunter sought me out over a month ago, we met in person and it went extremely well, but he hasn't followed up with any specific info about a meeting with the company/decision makers. It seems like 5-6 weeks is a long time to wait for the real meetings with the company to take place. That said, it has been a long time since I've looked for a job, so maybe this is normal. Thoughts? |

| It could be they just aren't moving very quickly but I would follow up with the headhunter. |

I hate headhunters. They always tell you you have so much promise...that they have the best position for you, but then ... crickets....
I would keep looking elsewhere. |
