Mine in September came in surprisingly high. 22207.

We recently bought in Arlington. The appraisal came in above the asking price but below the price we agreed on (right in the middle). We were happy with that.

In December, the house we were buying appraised above asking and our bid. In January, the house we were selling also appraised at least at the buyer's bid, which was almost 10% above list. Both in upper NW DC.

One of my co workers just bought his in Montgomery county, he was appraised like 30k below the purchase price, then the seller lowered $20k and they bought the house.

Whereabouts? My 22207 came in about $150,000 for one refinance. I'm refinancing again and worried we won't be so lucky.

We bought in Dupont last year, was kind of hoping the appraisal would come in under the agreed price so we could negotiate but it was right on.
