Zento Sushi in Old Town Alexandria? Any info?

I keep seeing their "coming soon" signs, and they've been up for a while. Does anyone know when this place is expected to open? It's off GW Parkway, in the same center as the Trader Joe's.

I don't think so - I think that place is on the other side of the tracks in Del Ray. Although if Zento had an adult-only policy, can't say I would complain...!

This japanese restaurant is Underconstruction but I heard that they will be open sometime next month ,

My husband walked by today and ran into the owner. They're now hiring and hope to open June 15!

Zento is open! We went tonight. Some new restaurant growing pains (they opened Friday), but owner was really nice and responsive. Sushi was good -- not great like Momo, but good. Ingredients high quality, just think the sushi chef was overwhelmed as things weren't rolled as well as they could be. We also had the don Katsu which was good. Will be back later this week to try the other kitchen dishes -- ESP ramen!
