Jeff,
I would love to be able to sort by date to see most recent posts in a certain category. Is that something you could easily do? For example, if I'm reading posts within DC Public Schools, I don't care to read the old posts since the info is probobly stale anyway. I like the word search, but it still returns the info with sporadic dates, instead of reverse chron, or something. Wouldn't it be nice to sort to the most recent posts within DC Public schools? ![]() Thanks |
OP here. Duh, I do see the most recent in each category. I meant after doing a search, I would like to see the results with most recent first. |
When you are in search you can see where it says relevance with a drop down arrow beside it. You can choose message date there. |
Here is how you do what you are asking:
1) click on the "search" link in the left column; 2) a page opens with two search systems on it -- ignore the top Google search and enter your search terms in the lower "built-in" search section; 3) From the drop down menu that says "relevance" select "message date"; 4) From the other drop down to the left, select the forum you want to search. |
