Are any companies paying for training these days?

Do any companies have training budgets these days? I'm mostly interested in computer/technical training and/or certifications. I find training opportunities that are 100% applicable to my job, but told we just don't have the budget for it.

I work in the cable industry. I've taken a variety of ITIL courses and received certifications. We also foot the bill for a variety of Cisco certifications as applicable to our technology. This is in addition to various Project Mgmt and business process trainings.

This year, I've already taken 3 courses, including a 2 wk LDI to gain a certification as a Kepner Tregoe Program Leader which allow me to conduct a 3 day workshop internal to the company.

PP here. I should add that this was after a good 3-4 yrs of the employee opinion survey stating over and over that we wanted more training opportunities.
