No Furloughs at DOJ!

WASHINGTON -- Attorney General Eric Holder says he will not need to furlough any Justice Department employees in the current fiscal year.

Not sure why you would think this given that many other agencies are furloughing--HUD, FAA, EPA, DOL, etc.

Think the terrorist attack had something to do with it. Not really logical to furlough people.

Certainly not at FBI, but the situation was much less clear for other components.

Don't care whether it was expected or not. I'm glad our HHI is not going down by 1,500 a month. That was going to sting. I went back to work part time a couple of months ago to make up the difference. I'm glad we won't be using that money to eat for the next year.

We're a double Fed family (both at Justice) so this one was going to really hurt. Now on to worrying about next fiscal year...
