Kate's New Picture

Anonymous wrote:So the actual story is that Kate Middleton has an eating disorder and collapsed right after Christmas because of her eating disorder. It's pretty bad and the abdominal surgery was to fix some of the damage her eating disorder did to her organs. She then needed to go to in-patient treatment. The royals are freaks about mental health issue and let her obvious eating disorder go way too long without any intervention. Now they're covering it up because they can't even say "The princess is suffering from exhaustion, has been admitted to inpatient rehabilitation and needs time and privacy to recover"which is the euphemistic way an an American PR firm would handle it for an American celebrity.

The palace is awful. Poor woman.

Ding ding ding.

I’m sure there are likely other stressors that impacted it as well but something clearly happened at Christmas and it was the tipping point. She is probably going to need a long time to come to terms with her new body, being in public and photographed. That’s why she isn’t out in public for pictures because it’ll set her back.

How does the ED theory square with KP treating her so poorly? Like giving her the blame for the photo, not visiting her, etc.?

Diana was treated with ridicule and disgust by the BRF for her eating disorder. I could imagine that current members 1) still have that same opinion of eating disorders, and 2) feel especially strongly because they're triggered by the memory of Diana.

Meghan Markle was suicidal and the palace forbid her from getting treatment. There’s been whiskers about Kate Middletin’s eating disorder for a long time, but no intervention or treatment, presumably because the place forbids mental health treatment.

Harry and William have both spoken of benefiting from therapy.

You are either ill informed or making things up.

Different poster. It was in the Oprah interview. The palace made it hard for her to get help.

So she changed the world with her letter writing about dish soap when she was a kid, but decades later as a grown woman she needed the big bad palace to get her help. Please.

I thought out the conspiracy people were off a ledge until I saw that article quilting a senior palace official as saying Will is worried she’s unstable and she’s refusing royal duties. That smells like a set up. I just cannot see any way in which this makes any sense for the family. I feel like if he can’t make it work with Kate who was almost designed in a lab for this life, George should just not count on inheriting that crown. The Brits will be looking for a new royal family …. Any Tudors or Stuart’s still hanging around?

Now with all the creepiness and photo ordeal and articles trashing her I know something major is up. I am now way too invested and need to know this woman is alive, safe and supported. If it's just her getting divorced, then I wish her the best with her freedom. Throwing her under the bus is just a MAJOR red flag and the fact they claim William said she is "unstable"-this is BIG. I think this is bring down the monarchy big if he tries to make her out to be insane.

Where did William say she’s “unstable”?

I’m not understanding the theories being suggested here. The picture looked fine to me with happy children surrounding and celebrating their mom. I guess I’m missing something here.

She was thinner than usual at Christmas. Look at her thighs in the white suit that hangs on her.

Did you recently wake from a coma and miss the last 2 days of news?

There also may or may not be marital trouble, as evidenced by William’s weird behavior, the completely unnecessary and bizarre attempt to photoshop her and her kids into a picture “taken by William,” and the palace throwing Kate under the bus.

But playing devil’s advocate…
- could this be a fourth pregnancy of an older woman, as somebody upthread suggested? It’s “abdominal” for sure. They wouldn’t want to make an announcement until she was out of the first trimester, plus she has hg. Her face might well swell.
- maybe she didn’t stay at the clinic for more than a few days, and that’s why we didn’t see William going more than once.

Happy to be proven wrong and/or called ignorant…. Well, the inane princess worshipper can keep away.

Absolutely. Yes. She'd be ordered to bedrest. NO stress would be allowed - thus, isolation. Out of the limelight. She could be carrying multiples.

Guys, they’re not living together.

Obviously IVF would have been involved at her age.

She’s only 42. Natural pregnancy is definitely possible at that age.

How would an ED affect a pregnancy? Also, how would the BRF feel if she was pregnant and refusing to eat?

She's in her mid-40s. Plenty of women get pregnant naturally in their 40s.

Nevermind that her own husband was a mental health cahmapion with his own therapist. Therapy is nothing new to the RF.

Very interesting to see if he gets away with. It's a new time and people know how crazy families work. This could be his downfall. Assuming she gets well and healthy or is well and healthy and think she will be fine.

Yeah I agree. The Brits sure love their royalty, but the palace painted Kate as this perfect foil to Meghan and I don’t know how, after that, they are going to successfully make William look like a decent person if Kate gets pushed out.

The notion that she’s somehow decided not to fulfill the royal role seems so unlikely. She’s seemed so, so composed for many years. The only thing I can think of is if there is some sort of catalyst - either 1) William flagrantly cheating on her or 2) a major health crisis leading her to reevaluate all her choices.

The radar story might be total crap but we will have to see if it seems someone’s camp is trying to pin Blane in her.

We are all just amusing ourselves here with this silly thread but I do think there is almost certainly “something” up - this is not business as usual.

Is Kate in therapy?
