Local strawberries?

When do the local strawberries typically come in? I know we've had a late winter this year, but the pink pseudo berries in the grocery stores aren't cutting it and I'm craving fresh, really ripe berries.

Definitely start checking around the week before Memorial Day. I know the Delaplane Strawberry Festival in VA is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend.
