| I met someone yesterday who said that she, her senior citizen mom, her teenage daughter and a family friend were all cured of asthma after having a flu shot, in different years (so from different versions of the shot). Has anyone else heard of this? I googled it and didn't get any hits. We do not get the flu shot and I am very conservative with shots in general, but we have a lot of asthma issues and I would consider giving us all the shot if it would help the asthma. Anyone else have any experience of this connection? Thanks. |

This doesn't sound right. I have asthma, DS has asthma. We always get flu shots and have not been cured.
With that said, if you have asthma you should absolutely get a flu shot every year. Complications from the flu in those with asthma can be much worse. |
How disappointing. THanks for sharing that. |
