I'm fairly new to OPKs/ charting and had a question about my current cycle. I normally have 33-35 day cycles, and in the two cycles I've been charting, had a +ve OPK 14 days before my period, followed by a temperature increase the next day. This cycle, I had a +OPK on CD 20, followed by a thermal spike of 0.3F and rising temperatures ever since. I think I ovulated on Day 20, but for some reason Fertility Friend is detecting ovulation only 3 days after the +OPK. Here are the temperatures:
CD 19 - 97.7 CD 20 (+OPK) - 97.64 CD 21 - 97.97 CD22 - 97.98 CD 23 - 98.39 Any idea why? Is it because of the larger jump in temperatures? I'm wondering when to expect the period (unless I get lucky, fingers crossed) because I have a long plane journey right around the time my period would start if FF were right, and I want to be prepared! Thanks in advance. |

Did you use any OPK sticks after you got your +? sometimes they can be + for a few days.
I use Fertility Friend to track, too. I think I remember reading that the calculation looks for a .4 jump. The only place I see a .4 jump for you is between days 22 and 23. You can also override their calculation, if you wish. Just log in to the website and scroll down past your chart, and click Tuning/Override under Ovulation Detector. GL! hope that plane ride is a happy one because you got a BFP! |

Thank you! Good to know.
No, it was -ve the next day but +ve the previous one (CD 19). The test line was darker on day 20 though. |
