Bar or Restaurant between Reston and Bethesda

Does anyone have any ideas for a meeting place for a drink, coffee, etc. about half-way between Reston and Bethesda?

We live in Bethesda and have friends in Reston. We meet at the Irish Inn at Glen Echo, which they swear is only a bit over 20 min for them - involves the Clara Barton Parkway, I think.
