DCPS After Care - Are there options?

Is it possible for a child to attend an after care program at a different school, not the same school he/she attends during the day?

| some schools have private aftercare. You wil have to talk with them directly |

| I don't believe it's possible to attend DCPS afterschool care at another school, no. Privates are probably different. What many children with diminished means do, short of enrolling at a different school, is attend afterschool care offered by churches and rec centers, which are typically cheaper or even free in some instances. However, buyer beware! |
