Dr. Rene Hackney will be offering her popular Positive Discipline workshop series in Reston on Thursdays May 23, 20, June 6 and 13 from 7:00-9:00pm. This workshop covers the steps of positive discipline including I messages, empathy, positive intent, choices, natural and logical consequences which provides a framework for discipline exchanges. This also covers proactive techniques such as positive directions and the types and impact of praise, ways to manage tantrums, whining and backtalk, mealtime and bedtime issues, power struggles and more. Join us to learn this valuable language.
