Business cards if you're out of work

Anonymous
Struggling to get back into the workforce, and realized I should have some personal cards to hand out at networking events. What advice to you have for making some professional looking ones? Just name, profession, email and phone number on a white background? Any recommendations on internet vendors? Thanks!

I don't have much use for cards anymore. Just take note and follow up on LinkedIn afterwards.

I still like having a card, OP. Your idea sounds just perfect.

I do that anyway, but there's that awkward moment at the end of the conversation "do you have a card?" People still exchange cards at networking events.

Worth having a card. You can put a 'job title' that is more like a job goal or summary of your experience

As for vendors, vistaprint is ubiquitous but can get the job done; TinyPrints are more boutique, a little pricier. I just got some simple inexpensive ones at Office Depot, they have a same day version you can get 100 or 200 of.
