If you switch jobs in the middle of the year what happens to the cap at 118k
Do you just get a refund at the end of the year or will the new employer track the amount from the old employer and stop paying it at 118k for both jobs. |

| Yes, you'll get it back at the end of the year. Each employer will only keep track of your wages at that job. And Medicare does not have a limit, only Social Security. |
