Best Adult All Inclusive in Caribbean

Anonymous
Wife and I have an opportunity this July to get away withouth the kids for 4 nights and are thinking about hitting an all inclusive resort for some R&R. We both work a lot so just looking for down time around pool and beach. We are looking for some place that won't be overrun with kids and has some good food. We like the idea of all inclusive so that we will know exactly how much we are spending.

Also looking for someplace that is a nonstop flight from IAD/BWI and under 4 hours.

Offhand, you might look around Cancun.

Sandals, if they have one in Jamaica (direct flight from BWI). Haven't been but have been to Beaches, the family resort owned by the same company, and think an adults only version would be fabulous. That said, if you're just looking for pool and beach, check out the Karisma properties in the Riviera Maya, just south of Cancun. They have some that are adults only. They dont have as much to do as Sandals/Beaches, but are lovely.

Sandals is in Jamaica, but I prefer Couples in Negril (which is a drive from Montego Bay, but has a nicer vibe).

Couples Negril. Unbelievably romantic and the sunsets are pure heaven. Highly recommend.

We love the sandals grand in St Lucia but its not a direct flight, you stop in MIA or ATL.

Your kidding?? That is a swingers place with people running around nude..who should not be running around nude!!

Hedonism is not a swingers facility. Yes, you will meet coupled there who are swinging- but many go for the option to be nude and child-free.

Personally, I'd go to Atlantis on Nassau, although Nassau is in the Bahamas. We just returned from our spring break Disney cruise and one stop was Atlantis - spent the entire day in one of their 14 pools, and swam with the dolphins. Atlantis is awesome, but so are Disney cruises. It's not cheap, but it's lovely, with great shopping.
