Baptism: Gift for church or minister?

| We're Methodist and are having our son Baptised in a church that we are members of and attend regularly. What is appropriate in terms of a gift for the minister or an additional offering gift for the church? Is anything expected above and beyond our traditional Sunday offering? (We still use the offering basket rather than an online contribution like some do). |

Is the baptism happening during the Sunday worship service?
Then no gift to church or minister. But if you are asking the minister to do this on a Saturday at your house or some other location, pay them appropriately for their time. |
