Impact of 2.0 on Highly Gifted Center

Hi!
Did any of the schools address how the HGC would be affected by 2.0? I was told by one teacher at our open house that they just got the first quarter for the language arts section and that this might impact whether or not the drama portion would be taught next year. If any of you has any more specific information please share it. Thanks! |

| The HGC our child will attend said that it won't have much of an effect. That they are already covering what needs to be covered under 2.0. One of the teachers said they have much greater flexibility and, for example, can spend a whole day on science if they want. |

| Our HGC explained that 2.0 only provides the framework and topics they need to teach, but they can provide the instruction in any way they want. So essentiallyu, it won't have a great impact on how the centers teach the kids. |
