NP here. Bought most of the items in PP's list but also added pedialyte and activated charcoal. |
| Ordering apocalypse food from your caterer is the most DCUM thing ever. |
Yeah. I felt a bit stupid and guilty for buying a whole bunch of groceries and supplies this week ... but I also realize that me being able to afford it and having space to store it means that I will take pressure off the system for people who don't have that luxury if anything happens. |
This doesn’t contribute to the discussion, this particular thread is more people who believe in preparation, if you don’t that’s okay but spare the snark. |
| ^for people |
In times of disaster we need extra snark. |
+1 it's going to be sold out at stores soon and it's shelf-stable. Stock up, PP! |
My local Target is out of hand sanitizer today

I've been slowly stocking up this week (adding in a few extra things here and there). I plan on grabbing some stuff at Costco tonight (have to run near one for more Girl Scout cookies anyways). Might as well grab a few staples that we'll eventually go through anyways.
Completely not related I wanted to grab a bunch of dehydrated camping style foods for an upcoming Girl Scout camping trip, but they are totally back ordered for 2-3 months. Thanks last minute preppers! |
Agree. I thought it was a funny post and actually laughed out loud. |
| Would asking for the name of the caterer be the second most DCUM post ever? I would love a stash of breakfast burritos... |
+1 I’d even trade some ibuprofen for some breakfast burritos. |
