So, if anything, given this made her famous, i would bet she has plenty of people around her telling her not to change a thing about her appearance and to keep whatever she's doing exactly the same.

I guess the only missing link is to prove those straight men are wealthy, and then your logic will be complete!

Well statistically speaking many of them would be, I guess, but it's hard to measure income from a bunch of guys on twitter, instagram, and reddit obsessing over someone

Most "wealthy" men don't hang out on instagram simping. Only the completely socially dysfunctional ones. The entire narrative is logically inconsistent.

1. "Do wealthy men desire skinny women?"
2. "No, here is pic of random instagram lady with fat legs. Lots of men are simping over her and women like her"
3. "Are men who simp on instagram wealthy?"
4. "no."

Plenty of men of all socioeconomic backgrounds use reddit, instagram, and twitter. Maybe you only know social exile types?

I do not know a single guy who makes over 200k who uses instagram or reddit. Twitter is a different story but if they're on there it's usually promoting their business (usually unsuccessfully)

Maybe you're extremely old or socially out of it? Anyway...

Do you know any men personally making over 200k who frequent instagram model pages? Really, I'm curious. I know zero out of hundreds of colleagues, friends and acquaintances. Perhaps there are some closeted ones. Really think through all the >200k guys you know and think if you know ANY that are simping for instagram models. Just to be clear, I don't think 200k is wealthy at all, it's merely the cutoff for not being poor (in DC). But if even with such a low bar we can't find basically any examples, then extending the income threshold upward is sure to be fruitless

NP. +1. In general they’re circulated eye candy at best. Like a playboy magazine on a coffee table. Social Media and Faint Fame aren’t appealing to all types. They actually prefer to be low key with the option to dazzle me dazzle. IMHO.

Uh, yeah, I know a bunch, actually. How old are you?

31

Hmmm. Maybe you just run with a nerdy crowd or arent as socially connected. I know plenty of wealthy men who follow various beautiful women on SM, Addison Rae included. And again, beyond my personal acquaintances, there are plenty of them on reddit, twitter, and elsewhere

It’s no longer 1995, what’s wrong with being nerdy?

Are you stuck in the Abercrombie cool kids era?

Well, a lot, if it impedes your ability to consider that there are other people who behave differently from your (very limited) friend group.

NP. I would not discount the size of your audience nor PPs. Both are significant. Part of what you are reflected in the unique social dynamics happening in our age and time.

Well here is a recent research article using actual data that shows wealthier men prefer more slender women:

In the modern age, skinny/fit is associated with class and wealth. Whether that's fair or not is for another thread. In my kids wealthy school district, most mom's are yoga pants and stay at home and fit.

Also observed in a limited capacity in the DMV area.

A lot of hobbies such as vacationing in tropical area (surfing kayaking) to ski or mountain climbing require you to be fit.

No need to look like the gal on fitness magazines with 16% body fat , but having overweight legs won’t get IG models over the climbing wall.

I’m so torn. What should I believe… a research article with thousands of empirical observations or a random anonymous crazy woman on dcum who claims she’s knows TONS of wealthy guys “simping” for whale legged IG models

I live in NYC and have an office in LA. I very very rarely see fat rich people in general. Both men and women are either slim or fit.

Hmm. I’m going with the research article. LOL!

“ Wealthier men and people with better appearance satisfaction had stronger preferences for good looking and slender partners. Preferences varied within and between genders, and were linked to bargaining hand in the mating market”

After multiple pages the conclusion is some wealthy men might like slightly chubby women (as long as her face and waist are still thin).

I’m pretty sure that rich men do not really desire fat women! You don’t need to spend a lot on research to determine that.

If you go to places wealthy men and their wives frequent, private schools, country clubs, five star resorts, you’ll see very few overweight people. That anecdotal evidence greatly overweights how many subscribers some random IG model has.

Sure does.

I don’t think anyone wants to be purely skinny anymore, and I don’t think men ever liked it, did they? The rich women I know are all toned and slim. They can wear bikinis and yes they look skinny compared to middle America but it’s actually healthy and how we all should look.
