I read the actresses memoir’s I’m glad my mom died. It was horrifying the level of abuse that poor girl endured. Jen is producing, and I believe starring in the series based on the book, And has compared her own mother to the memoir. for her to say that means it was not just flippant comments about her appearance. She feels like she was abused and I’m inclined to believe her.

+1 Her mother clearly had NPD, and they are horrible mothers to little girls. This could be the role of a lifetime for Jen, hope it goes well.

Forgiving and having compassion for her dying/dead mom is not the same as full healing from those childhood scars. A mother making her child feel ugly and ashamed of her appearance is extremely hard to undo.

I’m sure he loves the boost he is getting from being seen with Jen, but let’s face it, if you are a hypnotist or wellness guru or whoever and Jennifer Aniston is your client, you’ve already kind of made it big. She’s not just going to the phonebook and looking up randos. Obviously he is well known in her circle and in the industry and she used and liked his services so he’s kind of hit the jackpot before he ever dated her.
