Its not based entirely on name reciginztion, if so GDS or SR would be no where on the list. Academics, traditions and matriculation are clearly what most people are considering when making these lists. |
Sidwell admits a very high percentage of students with parents that are connected. In fact the 5 I know that entered in my child's year (we are at a different school) all have parents that are Ivy grads - some double. |
hahaha +1 |
Except that there are probably 10+ Gonzaga’s and even Demathas around the country. There is only one Sidwell. |
What is a Poolesville? Get out of here PP. |
You realize most kids at the Cathedral schools and Catholic schools never looked at Sidwell. Yes it is a good school but I think you are unaware that for many many people in the DC area it is not even in consideration for us. |
preach. |
Nope. Stop trying to make Potomac happen. |
Im curious. What school does your child attend? |
You win dumbest comment of the century. Pretty much any nyc prep school or New England boarding school has Sidwell beat if the category is children of 1%ers. Still has nothing to do with academics Lol. |
Google it. You sound like a fool. |
|
DP. You sound illiterate. No one is comparing Sidwell to other east coast schools let alone "1%ers." Where did PP even talk about finance? As PP said, there is only one Sidwell.. |
What does that even mean?! There is also only one Dematha. You Sidwell boosters have stopped making sense lol |
You are the fool. Just the fact that I had to look up the school says enough. "Sidwell wouldn't hold a candle to Poolesville." Do you have their senior insta page or prior year matriculation results ? I would like to see how Sidwell students compare to the Poolesville scholars you speak of! |
