Middle age women are beyond childbearing years. So why does it matter?

Because we have daughters and nieces that we care deeply about, and don't want anyone having a say over their bodies other than themselves. Abortion is healthcare.

That is their issue. Not yours.

Why does everyone keep stating this? Abortion is 💯 a societal issue. Our economy and crime are negatively affected when women don’t have access to abortions. You don’t think lower minimum wages or child poverty affects you and your community? Please educate yourself.

x1 million

So much (willful) ignorance.

Of birth control.

Thanks for demonstrating my point.

Abortion is not the answer for those who are ignorant of b.c.

People who equate abortion with birth control are ignorant of many aspects of women’s healthcare. If you choose not to acknowledge that, that’s on you.

I hate everyone who votes R in 2024, with or without vagina.

Sounds like you have a psychological problem.

I have a Republican problem.

We know, you’ve already shown you have psychological problems.

We all have a Republican problem. There is zero rational good reasons to vote R in 2024.

You do a good job of displaying your mental health dysfunction. Contact your doctor to get your meds right.

NP. I’m not a republican, but people who make statements like this are just plain stupid. Not everyone has to be exactly like you and think like you. When are you going to learn that?

Aside from all the other issues affecting many different people, unique to middle aged women issue imo is agism. Middle aged men get some too, but unlike women they don't have to try meet some crazy notions about how one goes from a young desirable woman to an old, respectable lady. Biological changes we go through make everything so much harder and there is no help or understanding, even from fellow middle aged women - everyone is supposed to suffer in silence.

So please respond to the PP who thinks abortion is just birth control. Show us how non-horrible Ds approach that.

Very true, ageism is a problem. It's awful that even fellow middle aged women call you Karen for having reasonable requests or expectations.
