What district are you in? In FCPS there is an option for those with medical conditions to learn from home. Aren't most districts offering that? Sounds like your child would qualify.
I would be totally willing to have my child wear a mask to protect a classmate, but as others have said, I don't think that elementary students are wearing masks correctly across the board. So I'm not sure you'd truly get the protection you are looking for by having classmates wear a mask. On the other hand, I'm still expecting FCPS to require masks for the unvaccinated which would be almost all elementary students. |
