It definitely is. Rich people have plenty of opportunities to cheat and pay to keep it on the DL. If you sleep with the tennis pro, he's likely not to tell. If your husband is away on business trips all the time, it will be easy to sneak said tennis pro into your bedroom after your lesson.
Ditto for the wealthy executive who can get an affair with his secretary or another woman, and pay for nice hotel rooms and claim he has another business trip to go on. And pay for a Tiffany's necklace to keep everything hush hush.

And most of the time both sides have an "understanding" and dont really care so long as it doesnt get blown up publicly.
