Question about communities in Herndon area

The zoned school has nothing to do with the age of the house. The streets off Nestlewood are an island that goes to Navy... I forget the history behind that. The streets immediately near the island that are zoned for Crossfield are the same age. So are the streets on the other side of Fairfax County Parkway that go to Oak Hill. There is a section of larger and newer FF homes that go to Crossfield, and that's because those streets where the last set of homes were built are close to West Ox Rd.
